Here at Roastar, it’s never been just about packaging for us. Sure, we want you to have awesome packaging that makes your brand stand out — that’s a given. Our custom-printed packaging is like modern art (stick with us here); it’s interesting to look at, but the real message is in the origin of the work. From the beginning, we’ve been laser-focused on addressing a major gap in the world of packaging: meeting the needs of the customers.

We can’t help it — we love making history. We did it in 2011 with the industry’s first low-volume, custom-printed bag. Over the years, we’ve continued to improve our customer offerings through new product development, our online ordering platform, maintaining low minimum order quantities, and remarkably fast turnaround times. All in the name of making beautiful custom packaging more widely accessible for the masses. And in 2022, we’re dropping our next hit single: digitally-printed coffee cans.

Kirby Holmes spent many summers traveling to southern California to visit his grandparents in Ojai. During those summers, stories would be shared about the devastation of the wildfires that had ravaged southern California. Given the recent intensity of wildfires around the country, Kirby began thinking about the need for people to wear air filter face masks to protect themselves from the smoke. He became fascinated with the impact air quality had on humans and the dangers associated with harmful pollution. After the original human masks were launched, he noticed a customer searched for dog masks on his website, sparking his grand idea.
