How do I seal tin cans?
There are two options to seal your cans. 1) Seal top to can with seaming equipment (Roastar stocks equipment for purchase or rent). 2) Purchase cans with pre-seamed ring from Roastar and hand apply a peel & stick valved end to lock in freshness. See the difference.
How much coffee does each size hold?
How much coffee fits in can?
5.5” Beaded Can 8–12 oz
4” straight can 6–8 oz
7” straight can 10–16 oz
The fill volume depends on the coffee bean size. We base our fill volume tests using whole beans. We encourage you to test your product in the desired can size before placing an order by ordering our sample pack.
How are cans packaged and shipped?
The cans are placed in a cardboard box with dividers between each can to protect them from dents and scratches. Rates are based on weight and destination. Refer to our shipping policy for more detail.
Can I rent the seamer for a partial month?
Seaming equipment is available for purchase or rent through Roastar. You can rent a seamer in one-month (30 day) increments.
What are the minimum order quantities?
The minimum order quantity for a custom-printed tin can is 50. For the custom-printed labeled tin can, it's 100.
We also offer patterns for you to personalize in our Roastar Design Lab™ with a low minimum order quantity of a single can.
And the lowest minimum order quantity is a single can on our stock printed beaded tin can.
