Why is my file being rejected for “missing links” and what does that mean?

If you receive a message that your file is missing links, that means you missed embedding at least one image or file within your design. An embedded item has its data integrated directly into your artwork. A linked item is a pointer to a file located elsewhere. If you send artwork with linked items, we’ll only see a blank space where that item was, so it’s imperative you embed all referenced images or files used in your artwork.
