Job Purpose

As a Project Manager at Roastar, you will be focused on the development of user-centered eCommerce and software solutions that meet both our customer’s and Roastar’s business goals.

You will be responsible for project execution, managing dependencies and constraints, gathering requirements from stakeholders, and helping to define the project scope, timeline, dependencies, and deliverables. You will collaborate with our business stakeholders, key decision-makers, marketing, sales, production, product, and development teams.

This position is a hybrid or remote position - with occasional travel to our office to collaborate with the team.

A Typical Day / Job Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution:

  • Create detailed project documentation including business requirements, process flows, and use cases to be approved by business stakeholders.

  • Understand Roastar’s business system functionality, internal team processes, and potential impact of project requests on all teams.

  • Develop, monitor, and assess project timelines and ensure projects are delivered on-time – meeting stakeholder, user, and business requirements.

  • Develop test plans, participate in system testing, facilitate user acceptance testing, and validation of implemented solutions.

  • Lead daily scrum, sprint ceremonies – act as main point of contact with DEV Team for clarification of sprint items.

  • Assist stakeholders with process improvement methodologies and project prioritization.

Team Coordination & Communication:

  • Work closely with cross functional project teams, key stakeholders, and customers to understand their needs, objectives, and challenges.

  • Facilitate communication and translate business requirements to ECOMM/DEV Team for their development of design & technical solutions.

  • Serve as a liaison between project teams, business stakeholders and technology teams.

  • Report on project status and progress.

  • Communicate status, risks, and issues clearly; ensure solutions align with business needs.

Risk & Issue Management:

  • Identify key project dependencies, risks, and decision points across the organization – ensuring involvement of key stakeholders

  • Report and elevate issues as they arise.

Documentation & Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Prepare and present progress reports to management and stakeholders, as needed.

Qualifications, Education, Experience, Skills

  • 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager, Business Analyst, or in a related role.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent.

  • Strong skills in requirements gathering, process modeling, and project documentation

  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).

  • Experience managing projects in an Agile environment.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and tools such as Visio, JIRA, Confluence, Monday.com, and GitHub.

  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking abilities.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively across cross‑functional teams.

  • High attention to detail with strong prioritization and deadline‑management skills.

  • Self‑directed, motivated, and capable of working independently or within a team.

  • Proven ability to build relationships at all organizational levels.

  • Comfortable working in fast‑paced environments.

  • Creative, entrepreneurial mindset with a strong desire to learn.

  • Professional, dependable, and punctual.

  • Preferred: PMP certification; CBAP or CCBA credential; experience in eCommerce; data‑visualization and storytelling skills

  • Hours of work are generally during regular business hours and average at least 45 hours a week.

  • There will be some variation in work hours due to employee shift schedules, special projects, deadlines, employee needs, and other concerns. Occasional out-of-town and overnight travel may be required for business and education.
